[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide structural engineering consultant service to the government authority located in Madison, WI.
- Assessment of key structural steel and glulam beams throughout the complex.
- Assessment of the atrium garden deck
- Assessment of the bolz conservatory skeletal structure. inside and out.
- Assessment of the bolz conservatory stairs, elevated walkway, and planting beds located over back
of house areas.
- The structural consultant shall take photographs of existing conditions as needed and include photos in final report.
- All digital photographs shall be taken with a good quality digital camera, cell phone, tablet, and
other such digital device.
- Digital photographs shall be formatted to achieve a good, clear, and detailed image where the
final file size is between 600 kb and 2.0 mb (2000kb).
- Photographs shall be in focus, use flash as needed but have little to no flashback in the photo.
- Where deficiencies are noted, that will require repairs or replacements, provide at least two (2)
recommendations for the repair or replacement. structural design and calculations will not be required for this RFP.
- The structural consultant shall be responsible for providing all equipment required to perform the
assessment including but not limited to scissor lifts, ladders, bucket trucks, and other similar
equipment and any related osha required safety harnesses, hard hats, etc.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 01, 2022.
