[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide public relations support services to obtain contractor strategic planning, consulting, and creative services, and to obtain contractor public relations, marketing, and web/digital support services to further safety education mission.
- The Contractor will offer insight and training on new communications strategies and activities, and will assist agency staff with enhancing existing activities and campaigns.
- The Contractor must create a strategic plan for agency communications.
- The contractor must provide to commission recommendations for training, hiring, and restructuring of agency campaigns that will improve the overall functioning of the office and the success of the mission.
- The Contractor must create and deliver plans to support and execute each safety education campaign throughout their duration and achieve success.
- The plans should include a description of the research, tactics, initiatives, and other campaign elements that the contractor will use to achieve the stated goals of each campaign.
- The Contractor must plan for earned media opportunities to expand campaigns through news reports and community outreach.
- The Contractor must distribute multi-media news releases with individual or multiple video assets, images, and text to news outlets in support of campaigns.
- The Contractor must use social media to promote campaign messages, establish new campaign relationships by engaging in social media discussions with other social media users, identify and engage with new voices in various safety communities who may be interested in working with the campaigns, and acknowledge existing campaign partners.
- The Contractor must use social media tools and platforms including but not limited to, any official campaign Facebook page, Instagram account, Twitter account, YouTube Channel, and/or campaign blog.
- Traditional advertising should include, but not be limited to, advertising in print, broadcast, and on outdoor spaces.
- Digital advertising should include, but not be limited to, advertising on social media platforms, ad-supported streaming services, traditional web display ads, and online video websites, listicles, programmatic advertising, social media influencer engagement and other avenues.
