[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide employee drug screening services to the government authority located in North Carolina.
- All new employees for our approximately 12,000 positions at our fourteen Facilities prior to employment.
- Pre-employment testing for direct care positions in our division offices.
- Under circumstances of reasonable cause.
- In addition, have commercial driver’s license requirements (20 such positions) which are a mix of five
- Panel tests and alcohol breath tests,
- Reasonable cause testing may also include alcohol breath.
- For desired chain of custody adherence matters our facilities cannot be used as a collection site. - A critical part of this proposal is a method to allow management to quickly and easily undertake for cause testing at any hour of any day at a known location.
- Access shall be available for urine samples for drug testing and breath testing for alcohol.
- The proposal must specify whether the 24-hour sites are different from the regular office hour sites in these 8 locations and how vendor will verify and consult with the department’s program administrator and applicant and employee when issues arise.
- Vendor must provide the names of the contact persons and contact information for each 24-hour site in its proposal.
(2) A pre-bid Conference will be held on February 2, 2023.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than February 9, 2023
(4) The contract will be three years.
